OUR PHILOSOPHY

Embrace The Ukiyo Lifestyle

At Ukiyo Home Lifestyle, we are on a mission to bring luxury, hand-poured candles made from natural ingredients to every home.

With each candle we curate, we wish to illuminate your home, bringing a true sense of peace and harmony to every room that they are alight.

What is a Ukiyo Lifestyle?

‘Ukiyo’ is a Japanese word and concept. It stands for a pleasure-seeking lifestyle, far away from stress and worries. It’s a mindset that focuses on living in the moment, enjoying the little things in life, detached from any problems that life may throw at us.

When you embrace the Ukiyo Lifestyle with us, we bring calm and tranquility to your home through natural essential oil scents that burn bright through our luxury candles.

Are you ready to live the Ukiyo Way?

MEET THE CREATOR

Hi and welcome,

I’m Annie. It’s nice to meet you! I’m glad you are here.

I created Ukiyo Home Lifestyle at a time when I felt the world needed a little more light and tranquility. Even when the world feels like it’s on fire around us, we have the power to share some positivity and love. For me, this comes in the little moments. Lighting a candle has always been part of our peaceful routine, helping me detach from all of life’s troubles - even if just for a moment.

With this collection, I wish to bring you the same moment of happiness, one candle at a time. Thank you for being a part of my journey!
To many more Ukiyo moments,

XO,
Annie

 BURN YOUR CANDLE SAFELY

01

The first burn of a candle is the most important. On the first burn, you must allow the melt pool to reach the walls of the vessel. After that, the candle memory will allow the candle to burn evenly without tunnelling. Do not burn for more than four hours.

02

Trim the wick 1/4" before every burn or when the wick “mushrooms” to maintain a clean burn. Make sure to light your candle on a heat resistant surface within sight, away from drafts, children, and pets.

03

Keep the wax pool free from debris. If the candle does not self-extinguish, discontinue use when 1/2" of the wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Once your candle is finished, repurpose your vessel. Don’t forget to tag us!
